RPOA News - Lobby Day

RPOA News - Lobby Day

Judge James Nowlin has dismissed RPOA's lawsuit regarding HB 1451(the Breeder bill promoted by H$U$ and THLN), in federal court, claiming failure to demonstrate standing to maintain this suit.

Judge Nowlin openly stated that he had lunch the week previous to the court date with his close friend Rep. Senfronia Thompson, the sponsor of HB 1451.

This is an outrageous conflict of interest! And the judge should have recused himself!

RPOA is considering several options including appeal, and will continue.

Your legislators need to hear from you regarding this outrage and protection of you rights to own animals for any reason.

Hope to see you at RPOA Lobby Day on March 13, 2013 in Austin, TX
